Shipping:

Pianos

Free acoustic piano delivery within 20km of our Vermont South or Burwood locations. This assumes straightforward access includes up to 3-steps. If you are unsure whether or not you qualify for free delivery, please contact us for assistance. Generally delivery can be expected within 5-working days, our pianos movers will contact you after purchase to arrange a delivery time. if you need your piano on or before a specific date then please contact us to ensure this is possible before placing an order.

Free pick up in-store for all Roland digital pianos. Delivery charges vary for portable Roland keyboards (FP-series and smaller). For larger Roland instruments (Eg. HP and LX series pianos) please call us for a quote.

Due to the large variation in piano sizes, weights, and delivery access requirements, all other acoustic piano delivery charges are calculated individually. Please contact us for a quote or to discuss your requirements. We’re always happy to offer our advice and expertise. Even if you’re simply looking to move an existing piano: Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Accessories/other

All orders under $100 attract a flat $10 charge to cover delivery and handling to metro Australian addresses. We offer free delivery (via Aus Post) for orders over $100. Pick up in store does not attract a charge, however if you ordered online please contact us to ensure that the your product is available to pick up from our retail shop and not currently in our warehouse.

Returns & Exchanges

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind so please select carefully before purchasing. Gift-cards are non-refundable.

WARRANTY ASSESSMENT

If your item is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect, and is within the manufacturer's warranty period, Australian Music World will repair or replace your item.  If your item cannot be repaired or replaced, we may offer you a store credit or issue a refund. 

Items found to be faulty due to abuse, mishandling or any sort of misuse will not qualify for warranty repair or replacement. 

To have an item assessed under warranty, and so we can serve you best, the following procedure must be followed.  We reserve the right to refuse the return of any item that does not comply with this procedure. 

1.   E-mail us at support@australianmusicworld.com.au to notify us of the faulty item. Include your name, best contact phone number, invoice number, product name and fault description. 

2.   We will reply to you within two (2) working days. If your return is approved, we will give you return details and the return address.  This address may be Australian Music World, the authorised repairer or other authorised third party.  We may also request further information to process the return.
